We hear so much about moms and the great job they do, but what about dads? There are many men who take joy in being a great father. To celebrate Father's Day, we are highlighting a few fabulous fathers. They are men, they are authors, they are dads, and we salute them!

BlaccTopp, raised on the streets of South Dallas, Texas, used his love of word play to push himself to local fame on the hip-hop scene in Texas and Florida. After losing his mother and sister to cancer, he knew something had to change. He began to chronicle his life, his mishaps and his capers which gave birth to The Hustle Chronicles, his debut novel and soundtrack of the same name. Blacc Topp made history as the first African American author to turn his novel, The Hustle Chronicles, into a mobile gaming app.
BlaccTopp is the father to three young children: Kalil, 6; Kalani, 5; and Kailyse, 3. He and his family reside in the state of Florida.
What is your favorite thing about being a dad? My favorite thing about being a dad is the challenge. My children are growing at a rapid pace both physically and mentally. I find it challenging to keep up with them. There is no better feeling than to know that you are responsible for the care of these tiny souls and that no matter what they learn good or bad is a direct result of your parenting. It's incredible to know that in your children's eyes you mean EVERYTHING to them.

Alex Richardson published his first book exactly one decade ago, after writing it on a legal pad then typing it on a typewriter. His love for writing has continued from that first book to his sixteenth. He wants to be remembered as a man of many genres, who pulled his readers into the stories and made them feel as if they knew the characters personally. Alex has written true crime, urban fiction, erotica and suspense thrillers and his next step is to write a screenplay to see his work on the big screen.
Alex has two daughters: Joi Alexis, 16, and Alexia Christine, 7.
What is your favorite thing about being a dad? My favorite thing about being a dad is the love and inspiration they give me to do my best. Everything I do is geared toward making them happy and I love seeing myself in them and my oldest has sparked an idea for a novel that is geared for all ages.
